A special program that combined local celebrity entrepreneurs with academic experts to provide a comprehensive education for new entrepreneurs

Project Info

Continuing education for entrepreneurs is an over-saturated market in Downtown Atlanta. Our quotas were stringent and resources sparse. I packaged our continuing education courses for corporate buyers. By leveraging the expertise of over 100 academic subject matter experts across the state-wide network of 17 centers I was able to provide robust content applicable to numerous industries. From there, our center  launched the Georgia Power Mentee Program, and the Commerce Club Presents “The 4 Disciplines of Business” Continuing Education Curriculum.

 Private Membership Based Clubs with diverse industry representation. 

Content: 8 Classes on 4 primary business pillars; Marketing and Sales, Finance, Human Resources, Strategic Planning

Cost: $8,000 / $1000 a Class / $25 a Ticket

The Problem

-An oversaturated market made the quality of entrepreneurial educational programming go down, while the prices went up.

-Academic experts were over-shadowed by Social Media Influencers making it hard for established businesses to gain online traction

-Traditional membership-based and academic organizations were failing to meet quotas and fighting a losing battle with retention to new tech-based co-working spaces

Though they’re so often mentioned in the same breath, Sales and Marketing are not the same things. This class will highlight the differences between Sales and Marketing, and help you identify the best mix for your business.

GETTING SOCIAL

Using Social Media to reach new customers

Social Media is an inexpensive way to reach your existing customers and find new ones. But, just because its cheap doesn’t mean its easy. This class will teach participants the basics of getting started with Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn on a limited budget.
